HRS Builders was founded by husband-and-wife team Cody Hastings and Britney Hastings, combining generations of construction experience with a passion for creating exceptional homes and lasting relationships.
Cody Hastings
Owner & Licensed Residential Contractor
Construction has always been more than a career for Cody — it has been a way of life. As a second-generation contractor, Cody grew up working alongside his father, Keith Hastings, owner of Hastings Homes, Inc., a respected Florida home builder since the early 1990s.
Over the years, Keith built hundreds of custom homes, developed multiple residential subdivisions, and completed countless renovations ranging from bathrooms and additions to large-scale residential projects.
From an early age, Cody was immersed in every phase of construction. He learned the trade firsthand by pouring concrete, framing homes, setting roof trusses, installing roofing systems, performing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work, and eventually managing complete residential construction projects.
When the housing recession of 2008 slowed the construction industry, Cody refused to let his goals be put on hold. He worked the night shift managing a loading dock at UPS while continuing to work alongside his father during the day. At the same time, he dedicated himself to earning his Florida Roofing Contractor's License.
That determination led him to establish Hastings Roofing Service, a company he has successfully operated for more than 12 years, earning a reputation for quality workmanship, integrity, and dependable service throughout Central Florida.
With a lifelong dream of following in his father's footsteps as a custom home builder, Cody continued his education and obtained his Florida Residential Contractor's License. That achievement marked the beginning of HRS Builders, bringing decades of family knowledge and experience into the next generation.
Britney Hastings

Britney has always had a passion for interior design, architecture, and helping families find the perfect place to call home.
After spending five years in the corporate world, the shift to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic inspired her to pursue a career that aligned with her passions. She earned her Florida Real Estate License and quickly established herself as one of Florida's top-performing agents, ranking among the Top 600 Realtors in the state for sales.
Beyond real estate, Britney has played a key role in the growth of HRS Builders by identifying development opportunities, procuring land, assisting with custom home design selections, and helping clients navigate both the buying and selling process.
Her eye for design, strong communication skills, and dedication to client relationships make her an invaluable part of every project, ensuring each home reflects the vision and lifestyle of the family who will live in it.
